We have used a number of ultrasound systems that have been marketed for vascular access, such as InView, I-Look and Sonosite, before we invested in the InNovaSound USB Ultrasound System.  Our staff has placed over 10,000 (approx.) PICC lines using only one IV device per procedure. InNovaSound

InNovaSound is the first complete Ultrasound imaging system built into a USB-compatible probe. The system uses B-mode imaging and weighs just 7.5 ounces. This breakthrough in analog to digital miniaturizations allows all of the electronics to be built in to the probe. The probe then sends this data to PC for display and processing.  The software provides integrated training video clips and guides clinicians to ultrasound controls or the specific scan protocol.
